Through the Rocky Mountain Section PGA and/or the Rocky Mountain Section PGA Foundation, the RMSPGA conducts tournaments, clinics, Clubs Fore Kids and other events for juniors, as well as providing monetary support to various junior golf associations and activities within the Section, in an effort to introduce them to the game and instill the positive life values the game represents.

What follows is a brief overview of the Junior Golf competitions held within the Section on an annual basis. For further information please proceed to the individual pages, also located under the “Junior Golf” tab above.

Conducted annually the end of June by the Rocky Mountain PGA, the Junior Rocky Mountain Section PGA Championship serves as our Section PGA Junior Championship and qualifying for the National Junior PGA Championship. Further information is available under the event page for the Championship.

The Rocky Mountain PGA, through its Foundation and with the support of PGA professionals, conducts an annual series of 36-hole junior championships throughout the Section.  The mission of the Junior Series is to promote the enjoyment of golf by junior players through affordable and competitive playing opportunities in professionally supervised events administered by the Rocky Mountain PGA.  Dedicated to nurturing and instilling positive life skills, the Junior Series focuses on teaching the values of sportsmanship, honesty, self-discipline, integrity and competitive spirit through the conduct of these tournaments.
The Yellowstone Junior Championship and the Gallatin Valley Junior Championship are held each year, generally in July. The Yellowstone Junior Championship is held in Wyoming and the Gallatin Valley Junior Championship is held in Montana. Information for these events is available under their individual event pages.
