BURTON IS THE 2017 SENIOR SECTION CHAMPION

Kevin Burton Captures Rocky Mountain Section Senior PGA Professional Title;

Earns Berth in 29th Senior PGA Professional Championship

 

Kevin Burton of Boise, Idaho, winner of the Rocky Mountain Section Senior PGA Professional Championship July 18-19, 2017 at Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club, will lead three Rocky Mountain Section PGA Professionals to compete in the 29th Senior PGA Professional Championship presented by Mercedes-Benz USA and supported by Golf Advisor and John Deere.

 

Burton turned in a fine final round of 69 on a simply perfect day for a winning total of 3-under-par, 72-69=141, to capture the Championship.  Rob Huff from Eagle, Idaho, and Jim Empey of Boise, Idaho, fired matching even par 2-day totals of 144 to earn the other two qualifying spots.
